Greetings! We are Ljay and Sofia, a husband-and-wife Seattle, Washington photographer and videographer duo with a deep passion for capturing life’s most meaningful moments. While our professional journeys began in the medical field, caring for people during their most important times, our hearts were always drawn to storytelling, artistry, and the magic of preserving memories.

 

In 2017, we took a leap of faith and launched GoProductions Media Entertainment, combining Ljay’s eye for detail and Sophia’s creative vision to create something truly special. What started as a passion project in Seattle has now taken us across Washington State, the Pacific Northwest, and beyond, documenting weddings, elopements, engagements, family milestones, and cinematic travel stories.

As a Seattle wedding photographer and videographer, we believe our work is more than just pressing a shutter or hitting record, it’s about telling your story in a way that feels authentic, emotional, and timeless. Our background in healthcare taught us patience, empathy, and precision, which we now pour into every wedding film, engagement session, and photo gallery we deliver.

 

Whether it’s an intimate elopement at Mount Rainier, a romantic wedding in downtown Seattle, or a family session along the Puget Sound, we aim to create images and films that transport you back to those moments every time you look at them. We are honored to serve couples and families across Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue, and the surrounding Pacific Northwest region, and we can’t wait to capture the memories that matter most to you.

 

As proud parents to our son, MJ, we understand just how precious life’s fleeting moments can be. From the first smile of a newborn to the joyful chaos of a toddler's birthday party, and the once-in-a-lifetime magic of a wedding day, these are the milestones that deserve to be cherished forever. That deep appreciation for capturing life's beauty is what fuels our passion for photography and storytelling.

Our journey as both parents and creatives has taught us that every moment, big or small, holds a unique kind of magic. We strive to preserve that magic in every photo we take, helping families and couples relive their most meaningful experiences time and time again.

 

Our love for travel adds another layer of richness to our work. We've wandered through the dramatic landscapes of Iceland, taken in the natural wonders of New Zealand, marveled at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, and soaked up the vibrant culture of China. We've savored the flavors and history of Europe, and road-tripped across the United States, uncovering hidden gems in small towns, big cities, and awe-inspiring National Parks.

 

Every place we visit shapes our perspective, deepens our creativity, and inspires us to see beauty in the unexpected. Whether we’re photographing a quiet family moment or an epic destination wedding, our goal is always the same: to tell a story that feels real, personal, and timeless.

 

 

 

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of capturing weddings in Ohio, Hawaii, and California, from the charming vineyards of Sonoma to the coastal beauty of San Diego, each location offering its own unique story to tell. Closer to home, we’re inspired daily by Seattle’s breathtaking landscapes, from lush evergreen forests to the majestic views of Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Mountains. In the summer, you’ll often find us camping, hiking, and photographing the golden sunsets over the Pacific Northwest. When winter rolls around, we swap our hiking boots for snowboards, chasing fresh powder and mountain vistas. No matter the season, our cameras are always by our side, ready to capture raw, authentic moments, whether for our clients or our own adventures.

 

Our work extends beyond weddings. We’ve brought our storytelling style to lifestyle photography and videography, corporate events, restaurant promotional videos, real estate photography, and music videos. One of our most memorable experiences was filming concerts for the lead singer of Journey, a dream project that allowed us to merge our love for music with our passion for film making.

 

When we’re not behind the lens, we’re likely sipping coffee at a local Seattle café, seeking out the city’s best food spots, or diving into a great movie for inspiration.
